Senior Sales Specialist

Position:

InfoTrellis is looking for a Senior Sales Specialist to join their Master Data Management (MDM) services practice to lead and deliver long term growth via direct as well as partner enabled sales channels.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Evolve InfoTrellis’s current MDM Services sales strategy to grow its market share in the MDM space
  • Achieve sales targets by driving new business sales initiatives and pipeline activity into Enterprise accounts
  • Drive close integration of Direct and Partner Sales and Services Delivery
  • Drive market making wins that will establish the company in the Enterprise market and secure key Strategic Partners
  • Manage and be accountable for a defined set of key Services customer and partner relationships
  • Build and manage the Sales Team

Skills:

  • The successful candidate will need to demonstrate sales leadership, excellent internal and external communication skills and the ability to manage key stakeholders. MDM Program is usually sponsored and directly championed by the C-level executives of Fortune 500 Corporations. It is vital that you demonstrate experience working with such executives as well as experience in selling large and complex services deals
  • Good understanding of MDM business components and technology, Data Management architecture is desired

Solution Architect/Team Lead

Position:

The solution architect/team lead will work closely with some of the largest companies in the world to implement best-of-class MDM solutions. This position requires a highly skilled individual with working experience in a CDI/MDM solution (such as IBM WCC, Oracle CDH, Siebel UCM, Siperian MDM platform), J2EE, Application Servers and RDBMS. Candidates should be hands-on and willing to work with the code, be self driven and have a proven ability to mentor and lead a team of consultants. Candidates should be capable and willing to work in a dynamic environment against aggressive delivery schedules. Good oral and written communication skills are essential.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in software services of which at least 4+ years of working experience in CDI or MDM
  • Experience developing conceptual and physical solution architectures spanning multiple heterogeneous applications, technologies and platforms
  • Professional on-site solution implementation experience, preferably with a large systems integration firm or for an enterprise software services arm
  • Good understanding of RUP methodology
  • Development experience (working knowledge) using Java, XML and J2EE
  • 5+ years in a J2EE environment including experience with application servers (WebSphere, Weblogic)
  • 5+ years experience with DB2 (LUW or z/OS) or Oracle9i
  • Thorough understanding of data modeling

Data Steward

Position:

The Data Steward will work closely with the data management group of some of the largest companies in the world implementing MDM solutions. Candidates will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the business unit view of master data entities, such as Customer, in the legacy systems. Candidates should have a good understanding of matching (de-duplication) of legacy data to the enterprise master, as well as the enforcement of enterprise quality and standardization rules on legacy master data. Other responsibilities will include managing business requirements for master data, ensuring proper data use, managing the quality of master data, and managing additions/extensions to master data. Data stewards will also be responsible to work with tools that enable them to maintain and validate the business rules surrounding master data. Candidates must have proven ability to interface directly with clients as well as interface with technical consultants on the ground. Candidates should be capable and willing to work in a dynamic environment against aggressive delivery schedules.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 3 - 6 years of experience in data management in the financial services sector
  • Professional on-site client interaction
  • Thorough understanding of data models
  • General understanding of data quality concepts and ETL tools
  • Developing use cases and test cases
  • Analyzing data and transaction requirements and where applicable, mapping the data elements to the proprietary MDM product data structures
  • Providing input for end-user documentation to the Documentation team, both formal and ad hoc
  • Evaluating implementation change requests, whether enhancements or defects, to ensure that the appropriate solution is defined
  • A sound understanding of Internet technologies, including XML and Object-oriented design
  • Experience working with a standard software development methodology, e.g. RUP or equivalent, would be a definite asset
